A development of an autonomous humanoid robot is proposed. Concentrating on the electrical segment of the humanoid robot, a good controller and controlling algorithm is required to make the humanoid robot reliable and efficient. The controllers that will be used are Open CM 9.04b and USB2Dynamixel controller. A Robotics ARM Prototype will be built in consideration of humanoid robot's representation design, the structure, the electrical systems, and specification. The results obtained from the prototype of the design will be used to design an efficient and reliable humanoid robot in the future. The microcontroller used in the design will be programmed using C++.
